This program consisted of 9 machines processing A Pillars, C Pillars, Kick Plate, Truck Scuff Plate, P-Self and Q Panel.

Driveshaft Assembly Machine

Automated assembly system for 14 versions of U joints. Part to part cycle rate of under 10 seconds.

Vanity Sun Visor

A semi-automatic assembly of a vanity mirror, runs multiple versions in up to 12 second part to part cycle time, reduced labor from 24 to 6 operators.

Headliner Assembly

Modular Assembly fixtures with Epic “Zero Balance” tool plates for HIC brackets to bonding.

 

Shipping Pallet

Consisting of 6 stations or 3 identical cells, these machines assemble and test a plastic shipping pallet.

Each cell includes:

  • Tipping Station for applying logo
  • Two hot plate welds of a large part driven by two servo hot plate welders
  • RFID tagging, reading and data transfer.
  • Print and apply labels with bar code scanning and index table.
  • One double-z gantry system, servo driven
  • One servo driven stacking gantry
